MEET JULIE
JULIE TODD
Julie Todd is the founder of North Nest Interiors, a boutique design studio and showroom built on authenticity, creativity, and connection. She believes design is more than aesthetics, it’s about how a space feels, how it functions, and how it reflects the people who live in it.

Her story
Raised at the base of the Bridger Mountains, Julie grew up surrounded by Montana’s raw beauty, a backdrop that continues to inspire her work today. She graduated from Belgrade High School and first pursued a degree in elementary education before finding her true path in interior design. With an AA degree in design, she stepped into the industry and never looked back.

Julie’s career began with high-end luxury residential projects and quickly expanded into commercial design, giving her the chance to work on projects across the U.S. Her portfolio now spans custom 8,000 sq. ft. homes, clothing boutiques, apartments, and amenity buildings, proof that there’s no design challenge she hasn’t met head-on.

Her philosophy
-
Homes should be both inspirational and functional
-
Design should reflect people, not trends
-
Clear, consistent communication is the foundation of every successful project
-
Nature offers the best cues for balance, flow, and inspiration
Beyond the studio
Julie carries the same curiosity into her life that she brings to her work. She believes in saying yes to new experiences, whether that’s exploring a new place, trying something unexpected, or simply finding joy in the everyday. She’s grounded by her family, loves the role of being an aunt, and embraces life with equal parts humor and heart. For fun, she has an identical twin, which often keeps people on their toes.

Her promise
Every project is a collaboration. Julie listens deeply, blending styles and ideas into spaces that are layered, personal, and timeless. Her goal is simple: to help people feel alive in their homes, surrounded by comfort and meaning.
